El Toro on the island of Mallorca.

el toro El Toro is a small village situated on the South West coast of Mallorca between the popular resorts of Magaluf and Santa Ponsa.
The village is mainly residential consisting of a mixture of Spanish, English and German, some of which are in residence all year round and many of which have holiday homes and apartments.
Over the last 15 years the local port, Port Adriano, has undergone extensive modernisation which is now attracting a lot of attention from the yachting community and tourists alike.

The beach is small and clean and situated next to the port itself. This is a quiet area, except on weekends and Fiestas, when the residents have the chance to relax and enjoy their surroundings.

There are a small number of restaurants available, ranging from local Mallorcan dishes to pizzas and fast food. Shopping facilities are basic, including the local Spar shop.

How to get to El Toro, in the South West of Mallorca

how to get to El Toro El Toro is in the South West of Mallorca-just past Magaluf. Coach transfer is usually about 1 hour depending upon the bus route.
If you are renting a car, arrangements can be made for you to pick it up at the airport. Follow the signs for "Via Cintura Oeste", then take the turn off for Andraitx. Keep on this road following the Andraitx signs until just after the Palma Nova turn off, where you will see a sign for Magalluf and El Toro. Continue on this road past Magalluf and Son Ferrer and El Toro is about half a mile up the road.

For those requiring a taxi there is a large rank outside of Son Sant Juan airport. Prices are fixed for the journey with additional costs for luggage. If you have special needs such as a baby seat then you should book a taxi in advance as most do not have these as standard.
