Overview of what to do
Whatever you enjoy in life you will find plenty of things to do in Mallorca.
The terrain is so changeable, from coastal to mountain to beautiful open countryside, that it is difficult to explore in a short two week stay, which is why people return year after year.
The majority of beaches in Mallorca are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and it is usually safe to swim in most areas.
One of the best ways to tour the island is to hire a car so that you can see everything at your own leisure. A must is to get the ancient train to Soller, travelling through olive groves to this picturesque town.
Most attractions and excursions are now not available in the winter months, although some do open all year round.
